The following Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustee positions were decided at the November 7, 2017, Election:
Place 5 - Bob Weiss (unexpired term through Nov. 2019)
Place 6 - Jim Copeland
Place 7 - Karen Harrison
The official canvass of the election was held at a regular meeting of the Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustees on November 14, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. The board meeting information can be found at the Board Meetings page of the CCISD website.

All school board positions are three-year terms and represent the entire school district. (See note above regarding place 5.) All Copperas Cove ISD residents registered to vote may run for any place in the Board of Trustee Election. The Secretary of State has more information on Candidacy Filing. The next election of the board of trustees will be held on November 6, 2018.

The Notice of Drawing for a Place on the Ballot was posted on August 21, 2017 at the CCISD Administration building, 703 W Avenue D, Copperas Cove, TX. The drawing for a place on the ballot for Places 5 and 6 took place on August 29, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. The names drawn for Place 5 are in the following order: 1. Bob Weiss, 2. Jeff Gorres. The names drawn for Place 6 are in the following order: 1. John F. Gallen, 2. Jim Copeland.
