The first day to file for a place on the ballot was Saturday, July 22, 2017. Copperas Cove ISD accepted candidate applications beginning Monday, July 24, 2017. Office hours for hand-carried and mailed applications was 7:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot was Monday, August 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
