Copperas Cove Education Foundation
Hall of Honor Proposal
The Copperas Cove Education Foundation would like to establish a Hall of Honor to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of previous graduates from Copperas Cove ISD. In order to be considered for the Hall of Honor, nominees must have graduated from Copperas Cove High School and be recognized as having made outstanding contributions to his/her community and/or profession and must be positive role models for youth in the community. Nominees must have graduated 10 years prior to their nomination. All nominations will be submitted by the community and honorees will be selected by the Programs subcommittee of the Copperas Cove Education Foundation. A member of the Copperas Cove ISD School Board (to be designated by the school board) will assist in the selection process. Special consideration will be taken to reflect honorees from various fields and graduation years. Each year three members will be added to the Hall of Honor and they will be honored and inducted at the Copperas Cove Education Foundation Gala held each spring. Honorees of the Hall of Honor will have a plaque (see sample photo below) added to the wall in the lobby of Lea Ledger Auditorium.
The purpose of the Hall of Honor is to honor deserving individuals who have graduated from Copperas Cove High School. Nominees must have graduated 10 years ago and must be able to attend the induction on April 14, 2018. This person must have made significant contributions through his/her service or accomplishments to his/her profession or community at large and must be a positive role model for the youth in the community. Application must be complete and adhere to all guidelines to be considered by the nominating committee.
