Welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! I am excited that another school year is upon us. Students, in this course, will study various aspects about the United States, including the geography of our nation, European discoveries, the settlement & colonization of North America, our revolution from the British, the quest for self-government, and the progression of our nation until 1877.
A little about me...I am entering my 21st year of teaching, with 17 years being in the Copperas Cove ISD. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree (of course in my favorite subject: history) from Angelo State University and earned my Master's degree in 1994 at the University of Texas. I am a huge Bulldawg and Longhorn fan! You will find me during the football season on Friday nights at the games!
