nine years were in 6th grade Social Studies and the past
nine years have been in Reading. I am certified as a
Texas State Master Reading Teacher as well
as a certified Wilson Language Teacher.

Did you know that research has shown the best
way to increase comprehension in students
is to read to them, read with them,
and be a part of their
independent reading? Do the latter
one by asking questions about
whatever they are reading and
letting them see you actively reading.
