Google Docs and Spreadsheets can be used to create and store text documents, presentations and spread sheets.
Classtools.net has several cool tools for you. This one is used to make fake text message conversations. Have your students create conversations between book characters or historical people. The finished conversation can be saved, sent as a link by email, and embedded.
Files up to 100 MB in size can be e-mailed to the site for conversion to another format. Files from both a PC and a URL can be converted. Options for converting movies from YouTube, Google Video, and other online sources are available. Some of the newer features include conversion options for Microsoft Works files and Office 2007 files. The converted file is e-mailed to the user and can be accessed for up to 24 hours after the e-mail with the file link is received.
