The Notice of Drawing for a Place on the Ballot will be posted on July 24, 2017 at the CCISD Administration building, 703 W Avenue D, Copperas Cove, TX.

Copperas Cove ISD Election 2017

The following Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustee positions are up for election to office for the election scheduled to be held on November 7, 2017:

Place 5 - Currently held by Bob Weiss (unexpired term through Nov. 2019)

Place 6 - Currently held by Jim Copeland

Place 7 - Currently held by Karen Harrison

The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Saturday, July 22, 2017. Copperas Cove ISD will accept candidate applications beginning Monday, July 24, 2017. Office hours for hand-carried applications will be 7:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is Monday, August 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

Copperas Cove ISD will provide candidate applications and packets. Packets may be picked up between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., at 703 W. Avenue D, Copperas Cove, TX. 

When election dates are finalized by the Secretary of State, we will provide candidates with an election calendar of important dates.

All school board positions are three-year terms and represent the entire school district. (See note above regarding place 5.) All Copperas Cove ISD residents registered to vote may run for any place in the Board of Trustee Election. The Secretary of State has more information on Candidacy Filing.
