 Ms. Kostroun is a graduate of Tarleton State University and has worked in CCISD since 2007. Prior to coming to Copperas Cove, Ms. Kostroun worked in the Waco ISD as a Technology Teacher, Technology Facilitator, and Instructional Specialist. Ms. Kostroun has a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Tarleton State University.
   
As the freshman principal, Ms. Kostroun organizes the following activities to help students transition to the high school:
Sneak Peak at the DawgHouse - ususally held in mid January and is an open house for eighth graders and their parents
DawgHouse Welcome - held in mid August prior to the start of school and is designed to help students adjust to high school.
