The following Copperas Cove ISD Board of Trustee positions are open for election to office on November 5, 2019:
Place 3 – Mike Wilburn
Place 4 – Joan Manning
Place 5 – Bob Weiss
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Saturday, July 20, 2019. Copperas Cove ISD will be open Monday – Friday, during regular hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. to accept candidate applications. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot will be Monday, August 19, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at 408 S. Main St., Copperas Cove, TX, 76522.
Copperas Cove ISD will provide candidate application packets. Packets may be picked up during the following dates and times:
June 20 – July 19, 2019: 408 S. Main St., Copperas Cove – Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
July 22 – August 16, 2019: 408 S. Main St., Copperas Cove – Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
August 19, 2019: 408 S. Main St., Copperas Cove – 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All school board positions are three-year terms and represent the entire school district. All Copperas Cove ISD residents registered to vote may run for any place in the Board of Trustees Election. The Secretary of State has more information on Candidacy Filing.
