Hundreds of Cove students turn out for annual campus prayer rallies

COPPERAS COVE, TX (September 23, 2020)—Hundreds of students across the school district of Copperas Cove gathered around their schools’ flag poles this morning for the 30th Annual See You at the Pole, a  prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation in prayer. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.

Members of the community, school staff members and church leaders joined the rallies that offered music, scripture and prayer by various students.

The global day of student prayer began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Thirty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.
