Next Week, we celebrate Red Ribbon Week!
Although most campuses have their own dress up days and activities planned for the week, CCISD will kick off the campaign on Monday, October 27th with ALL students and staff WEARING RED!
The Red Ribbon campaign began in 1985 following the murder of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camerena. NATIONAL FAMILY PARTNERSHIP launched the initiative to raise awareness about the devastating impact of drug abuse in America. Today, Red Ribbon Week is the nation's largest and longest-running drug prevention campaign, encouraging communities to take a stand for healthy, drug-free lifestyles.
"Life is a Puzzle, Solve it Drug Free."

Congratulations to all that received this month's Capturing Kids' Hearts' leadworthy award for the Character Trait of the Month. This month we celebrated Empathy- the ability to understand and share feeling of another. Faculty and staff were asked to nominate students and staff members that exemplified this standard. Students were recognized for things like being a shoulder to lean on for other classmates, to bringing a friend a special cupcake on their birthday. Faculty members were recognized for going above and beyond for the students. Eli Smith, Hannah Gunter, Marlee Daniels, and Yadnniel Burgos were the honored students. Yoshenobia Harris, William Taylor, and Camille George were the chosen faculty. Way to go Bullpup Nation!!!! You make us proud!!
