We would like to thank the Coryell County Sheriff’s Office in its continued partnership to ensure the safety and security of the CCISD students, staff and visitors. They provided a 16-hour ALERRT Level 1 course to the Safety and Security Department to prepare our security personnel with instruction on how to handle an active situation. This training is also required by all Texas peace officers.

Today, our district began its annual Leadership Summit, working hard to finalize preparation for the coming school year. When everyone arrived, Fairview/Jewell principal Dr. Rebekah Shuck, assistant principal Vanessa Vazquez and CCISD superintendent Dr. Brent Hawkins showed up in true Bulldawg fashion!
