Parents/Guardians,
Time flies when you are having fun! May will be over before we know it. This edition has some important end of year information. Please read through it carefully and mark your calendars.

All student dismissal changes
must be communicated before
2:30 pm. Please contact the
front office with any dismissal
changes. Due to student safety,
students will not be released
after 2:30 pm. If you need to pick
up your student early, please come
before 2:30 pm.

Inclement Weather
Dismissal
CPE prioritizes the safety of our
students. If inclement weather occurs
at dismissal time, students will be
dismissed from an inside designated area.
If lightning is present, all
walkers will not be dismissed until we
have an all clear notification for the district.
Campus Safety
Parents, please we need your help!
Please check your child’s book bag often for anything they are not supposed to bring to school. A comprehensive list of prohibited items can be found on our district website. Starting May 12th, we will ask that all book bags remain at home. Students can still bring lunchboxes and a small bag (think, tissue box size).
Field Trip & Field Day
Chaperones
If you are interested in
chaperoning your child on
their field trip, you must
complete a required
background check. Please
contact Brenda Smith
