During April, we are celebrating National Autism Acceptance Month. In Copperas Cove ISD, we work daily to ensure every student feels they belong and they have a safe environment to learn in.
April is the Month of the Military Child. In CCISD, all 11 campuses are Purple Star Designated campuses for the work they do to ensure a great educational experience for the almost 50% of students from military-connected families.
Happy April, everyone! Here is a reminder of the school calendar for this month.
Students will be off on Monday, April 7th, for staff development. CCISD will then be closed April 18th-21st for the Easter holiday.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Some very important days are coming up in the life of our Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students:
***Wednesday, April 9th
Reading STAAR-3rd,4th & 5th Grades
***Tuesday, April 15th
Science STAAR-5th Grade
***Wednesday, April 23rd
Math STAAR- 3rd,4th & 5th Grades
Please help prepare your child by encouraging him/her to:
Get plenty of rest before the tests.
Eat a good breakfast.
Arrive on time.
Dress in layers to be comfortable during testing.
Do their absolute best!
Campus will be providing snacks on testing days
In order to maintain testing security and ensure a quiet testing environment, we will be closing campus during lunches for all grade levels on the above dates. All noise and traffic in the campus hallways and common areas will be kept to a minimum.
