COPPERAS COVE – The region’s stellar counselor this month calls Copperas Cove ISD home.
The Region 12 Education Service Center has named Copperas Cove HS counselor Jessica Salazar its Stellar Counselor of the Month for September, recognizing her for her creative approaches with students and the positive impact she’s made on students.
“I’m truly humbled to be named Stellar Counselor of the Month for Region 12,” Salazar said. “Every day, I do my best to pour my heart into supporting my students, finding creative ways to connect with them, and helping them grow and succeed.”
Salazar works with the Graduating Class of 2027, ensuring they are meeting the requirements outlined in their course plans and meet state standards to graduate on time.
Before moving into the counseling office in 2023, Salazar was the campus’ student activities coordinator.
“I am deeply grateful for my amazing mentors who guide me and being part of such an inspiring community,” Salazar said.
