Bulldawg families,
This has been an exciting fall semester, and I could not be more proud of all of our students and everything they’ve achieved to this point. This week, our community will celebrate yet another of those groups when Bulldawg Football travels north to face DeSoto in the playoffs.
As many of you may know, this is the first playoff berth since 2018 for the Dawgs and there is a palpable excitement around our community and I can’t wait to see everybody in DeSoto on Thursday.
I wanted to let you know that, because of the vast number of students and staff members involved in Thursday night’s trip to south Dallas, Copperas Cove ISD will implement a two-hour delay to start Friday across all campuses and departments in order to ensure the safe travel for every employee, student and parent Thursday evening and Friday morning. This delay will not affect dismissal Friday afternoon, nor will it force us to add any time to the instructional day moving forward.
We look forward to continued success from our student groups as the year continues and I can’t wait to see all the Bulldawgs accomplish this year.
