The rescheduled meeting will take place in the Board Room, located at the District Service & Training Center on South Main Street. The agenda will be posted at least three business days prior outside the District Service & Training Center. Once it has been posted, it can be viewed online at www.CCISD.com/SchoolBoard.

COPPERAS COVE -- A water main break in our community has multiple of our campuses with no water or low water pressure. Our district has been in constant communication with the City of Copperas Cove and we have been informed that this water main break has been escalated to a Stage 4 water declaration and requires substantial repairs which will disrupt service to the entire city. Stage 4 requires school closure.
As a result, Copperas Cove ISD will implement a staggered early release system today at all 11 campuses. Dismissal times for today are:
Junior High campuses – 2:30 p.m.
High School & in-person CTIA students – 2:40 p.m.
All elementary campuses – 3:05 p.m.
Mae Stevens ELA – 3:15 p.m.
Our transportation department is already headed to pick students up from campuses, if your student is registered to ride the bus home. Each campus will have staff on-campus until the close of business today, to ensure every student is able to safely make it home. If your elementary student is a walker and you would prefer for them to wait for you to pick them up, please call your student’s campus as soon as possible.
We remain in constant contact with the City of Copperas Cove and will provide an update on tomorrow’s school schedule as soon as we are able.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We appreciate our community’s grace and understanding as we navigate this challenge together.
As always, if any parents have questions, they are encouraged to contact their student’s campus.
