COPPERAS COVE - With water service having been restored to our community, Copperas Cove ISD will reopen and resume classes Thursday morning, August 20th, at our regular time. We understand this has been a challenging way to begin the school year and apologize for any inconvenience which this may have caused.
Our district does remain under a boil water notice, meaning water fountains will be turned off throughout the district. Students are encouraged to bring bottled water from home. We will have a limited supply of bottled water available at all of our campuses throughout the day, as well.
We appreciate our partners at the City of Copperas Cove for working to get our community’s water service restored and allow us to open our classrooms again, as well as our community’s patience as we navigated this challenge together.
Buses will run at their normal time Thursday and a safely-prepared breakfast will be available for all students who want it.
We look forward to getting back on track with another great year and can’t wait to Unlock the Dawg.
