The S.C. Lee Jr. High choir department was recently awarded a $1,450 grant from the Peter R. Marsh Foundation to grow the fine arts program on-campus.

The CCHS Science National Honor Society recently induced five new members. Congratulations L. Cantu, Saida Gjana, Stephanie Martinez, Mikenzie Roberts and Wanissa Waterhouse.


CCISD will host its next Emergent Bilingual Program Cafe TOMORROW in the CCHS library. We hope to see you there!


Move on Up! will be hosting a Christmas Market in the CCHS Cafeteria NEXT Saturday! Ornaments are $5 or less, and this event is cash only. All proceeds go to the participating work-based programs.
We hope you'll come see some of the amazing work our students are doing.

Copperas Cove ISD will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break, November 25th-29th.


CCISD has received 60 Thanksgiving baskets from the Star Group Veterans-Helping-Veterans. A huge thank you to the Star Group Veterans-Helping-Veterans for their many years of support to the students of CCISD!





CNS served their Thanksgiving Day feast to all students across the entire district.
They served sliced turkey breast steak with turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, seasoned green beans, sweet potato & sliced apple casserole, cranberry sauce, hot buttered roll and ice-cold milk.



Parents please remember that Friday, November 22nd is an early out day.

Thank you to The Holy Family Knights of Columbus for their annual donation of hoodies and crocheted hats. They have shattered their pervious donation with 69 hoodies and 32 crocheted hats.


Martin Walker Elementary honored Veterans with their Veterans Day Celebration, complete with several student lead performance. Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces!

Join us for a Retirement Celebration honoring Dr. Joe Burns Friday Dec. 20th at the Copperas Cove Civic Center from 3pm-6pm.


Fairview Jewell Elementary honored Veterans with their Veterans Day Celebration, complete with a performance from the Singing Jewells. The GT and Student Council also gave a presentation and presented all of the Veterans present a handwritten thank you note.
