Before the Holiday Break, Senior officer spread some holiday cheer to our amazing sponsors with banners made in-house by CTE’s own Bulldawg Ink!

Emily Johnson Photography—also a proud supporter of our Copperettes—and Fort Hood EMS just recently received theirs. Thank you for all you do to support our students and programs!

For more information on our in-house print shop, visit the Digital Media page on the CCHS website (also created by students):

Before the Holiday Break, our AP Physics 1 students wrapped up the semester with an exciting hands-on project — Rube Goldberg Machines!

Using mostly cardboard and marbles, student pairs designed individual sections of a larger machine, each demonstrating and calculating two physics concepts learned this semester, including forces, friction, work, energy, momentum, and kinematics. Afterward, the class worked together to connect their parts into one giant contraption that brought physics to life in a creative (and fun!) way.

Check out the pictures to see teamwork, problem-solving, and physics in action at Copperas Cove High School!

This week, the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, Capitulo Américo Vespucio of Copperas Cove High School (Spanish National Honor Society) partnered with several other organizations at the high school to recognize the everyday heroes of our community.  They included the National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America, (HOSA), the National Science Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, Art Club, and Criminal Justice club.

Students worked together to write notes and messages of kindness, strength, encouragement and gratitude for the dedication, sacrifice and selfless service these heroes provide to our community. According to Chloe Pinckney, Vice President of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, "Our goal was simple, to acknowledge and give back to those who consistently give back to us unconditionally."

Students also collected hot cocoa, hot cider, coffee and holiday treats and presented a goodie basket along with an envelope of messages to each organization - the Copperas Cove Police Department, Copperas Cove Fire/EMS, and the Coryell County Sheriff's Department.

Bulldawg Pride on Display!

Our amazing Theatre students and the Class of 2028 spent their Saturday turning the halls of Copperas Cove High School into a festive winter wonderland as we get ready for the Christmas season.

A huge shoutout to Ms. Kenobbie and Ms. Trimm for coming up and helping as well — we appreciate you!

And a special shoutout to Ms. Brown’s and Ms. Lautenschlager’s classes for their hard work and fantastic decorative contributions (as well as everyone else who contributed).
The halls look incredible thanks to all of you!
